Our Work

Community Service and life long learning

Through camping, hiking, and outdoor challenges, our members learn valuable life skills while making lasting friendships outside the classroom.

Local Community Events

Skill Development

We organize community service projects aimed at fostering respect and care for the world in our young members.

Outdoor Challenges

Nature Exploration

Each activity encourages a spirit of adventure while instilling values such as courage, loyalty, and responsibility.

Camp Fire at Night

Exploration and Leadership Development

Our programs are crafted to enhance skills, confidence and participation in community life for youth.

Camps

Weather its local or far away, Camps are always a place of wonder. It is a time when children can learn lifelong skills, form friendships and become independent, be it beavers, cubs or scouts.

Events

Events are a great way to get the beavers, cubs, and scouts involved. A number of events are held each year, some of which are community events that help raise awareness of what we do. Others are just for the children and can range from going for a trek to a day full of adventure.

Community Service

We try to get the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts involved with the larger community. We hold fayres, attend Milford Haven Carnival, Remembrance parades, and do beach clean-ups as well as other activities.

Outdoor Skills

A big part of what we do is teaching outdoor skills. We strongly believe that learning about wildlife and animals, Knots and rope skills, navigation, bush craft and fire safety will help them learn valuable skills as they grow.
